Get today's follower total of each connected social network

social_insights.followers.get

Returns the follower total of each connected network right now, read live (one external quota unit per network read): Instagram followers of the account, Facebook Page followers, TikTok followers and YouTube subscribers (YouTube rounds them to three significant figures above 1,000). Each network comes with platform_id, connection_name, status and followers: ok with the number, error with the reason (an expired connection, a missing permission; the others still return) or unavailable for LinkedIn, whose follower count MB Suite's connection does not read. date is today in the organization's time zone and as_of the moment of the read. With no network connected it returns an empty list. Use it for the current audience size; the change in a period (new followers, subscribers gained) is in social_insights.insights.get. Requires view access to Social Insights. With LinkedIn, TikTok or YouTube, their terms limit it through the API and the MCP: what they do not allow answers 403 platform_terms_restricted, and their records or fields are left out of the response (the permissions guide lists what each platform allows).
