API terms

What governs the use of the API, the MCP and webhooks.

The use of the API, the MCP and webhooks is governed by the MB Suite Terms and Conditions —in particular section 4a, “API, MCP and Third-Party Applications”, and section 7, on acceptable use—, the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and the Privacy Policy.

The legal texts are published in English.

The essentials of section 4a

  • The apps you authorize are not MB Suite's unless they are marked as verified: their use of your data is governed by their own terms.
  • You are responsible for the apps and API keys you and your team authorize, for keeping credentials secret and for what is done with them, which is logged under the name of whoever authorized it.
  • Connected mailboxes and calendars only go out with the organization's and the credential's permission, and never to apps that use that data for advertising, for resale or to train general AI models.
  • MB Suite may suspend or revoke API keys, authorizations or apps that breach the terms, abuse the service or create a security risk.
