List the data sources a report can read
reports.data_sources.list
Lists the platform connections of the organization, or of one of its accounts (target_org_id), with the data_source_id that goes in a data_source_mapping or in a block's data_source_id (e.g. google_ads:1234567890), the display name, the external id, the account currency and whether it is inherited from the workspace. Filter by platforms. Use it before reports.instances.generate or reports.templates.deploy to map each slot of the template. Requires view access to Reports. With Google Ads, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, TikTok or YouTube, their terms limit it through the API and the MCP: what they do not allow answers 403 platform_terms_restricted, and their records are left out of the response (the permissions guide lists what each platform allows).
